We also offer boarding and practice natural horsemanship.  Each horse receives 24/7 turnout, 1 stall per horse (unless pasture boarded), Pennfield products with grain 2 times a day, Locked Tack Room, 6-10 Flakes Hay/Day, Owner on Property, Trails on Property, Within riding distance of Federal Trails.  All horses receive TLC.  Please email or call for more information and boarding fees.  We now have three stalls available.

Private Lessons at Rock Ridge Ranch offer the student a one on one experience with an assigned horse and instructor. We offer Beginner through advanced, both english and western.  Beginner students are required to take Horsemanship 101 prior to private lessons.  All sessions are 1 hour  (we also offer 1/2 and 3/4 hour sessions for a reduced price).  Students are required to groom and saddle their mount.  Please email or call for more information. 

Each birthday party has hands-on-instruction.  Your party begins with 1/2 hour of grooming (brushes and tools used for cleaning, different breeds and colors, SAFETY!).  Your next 1/2 hour consists of tacking and saddling (parts of saddle, parts of bridle, parts of horse).  Your last 1/2 hour is for riding.  Each child will be led around the arena by the instructor.  Price ~ $20 per person for 1 1/2 hour session.  Age minimum 6 years old.  Birthday child is free.  Minumum of 5 children.  Please email or call for availability.  Ponies are available for your party at home based on availability.  Reservations and deposit is required.

Each student will learn from the ground up, grooming, use of tack, how to saddle, leading, horse language, barn etiquette and much more.  Horsemanship 101 will prepare each student for private lessons.  Rock Ridge Ranch offers Horsemanship 101 as a 5 week program which accommodates 3-5 students per program.  The program runs rain or shine.  There are no makeup sessions unless the entire session is cancelled by Rock Ridge Ranch.  Sessions run 1 hour.  Cost is $150.00 per student.  Each child will receive a T-shirt and certificate at the end of the session.  Please email or call for availability.  Adult Horsemanship also available for those wishing to refresh their skills or learn more about taking care of their equine companions.

Join us for a fun-filled week of horsemanship, games, scavenger hunts, hiking, arts and crafts and much more!  Okay so you have never been on a horse - that's fine!  Everything you do will be hands on at Rock Ridge Ranch.  From grooming, saddling your horse, washing, feeding, watering and even mucking the stalls!  Top that off with fun games and arts and crafts will make your week here memorable and you will want to come back and do it again.  Looking forward to meeting all of you.    Additional weeks may be added based upon counts.

Summer Horsemanship Camp - (Monday-Friday 9-5)

Ages 7 and up, girls and boys. Minimum of 5 students per class

Little Rockers Camp - (Monday-Friday 9:30-12)

Ages 4 to 7, girls and boys.  Minimum of 4 students per class.

2009 Clinic Dates will be Available in the Early Spring.

Rock Ridge Ranch will host a Family Fun Day.  Look for future dates.  Open to the Public with hands-on and riding demonstrations.
