About Us

Our Mission at Rock Ridge Ranch, Inc. is to educate through horsemanship and lessons the special relationship between humans and their equine companion.

Our Business

We were blessed with a beautiful piece of property.  Safety prevails.  Every horse is treated with respect and TLC.  Every student learns that they cannot get hurt, the horse cannot get hurt and every session ends quieter than it began.  We want our customers to walk away with the entire picture ~ not only learning to ride but to take care of our equine companions.  It's funny because we feel that the horses actually chose us!

Rock Ridge Ranch, Inc. was started in 2006 as a trial company and when the calls started coming in we decided to move forward.  Our goal is to pass on what we have learned and hopefully it will be welcomed by everyone who walks through our stable.

Since 2006, we have tripled our lessons and have started accepting boarders!

We are also within riding distance of the federal trails in the Delaware Water Gap Recreational Area.

Having been an Equestrian for fourteen years, there is nothing I enjoy more than tacking up and riding. There is nothing better than spending a day at the stables, whether it’s riding or everyday barn chores.

Now that I am an instructor I find fulfillment in passing on my knowledge and love for the equestrian sport. I have a lot of experience for my young age. I have partaken in many horsemanship clinics, including: Ray Hunt, Kenny Harlow, Chris Cox, and Clinton Anderson, as well as showing in local shows.

I have also instructed at an all girls summer camp for three years. My first year I started out with instructing lower/beginner levels and assisting the middle/intermediate levels. The following summer I began instructing the middle/intermediate levels while assisting the advanced/jumping levels. Finally, after determination and hard work I achieved the position of head instructor, teaching the advanced/ jumping classes and managing all levels.

I believe that the most gratifying part of my job is being a part of a student’s accomplishment. Watching them learn and achieve their goals is something you can not put a price on. Being able to inspire someone is the best part of my job!

Who We Are

At 5 I knew that I would always strive to have a place of my own.  Working hard I always felt that it was just within reach.  I was fortunate enough in the past 5 years to realize that dream.

I bought my first horse, Cherokee and boarded him.  Then came Andy, our Arabian Gentlemen (who we lost last year) and boarding just became stressful.  I swore that when I had my own place that I would take care of all the horses as if they were my own.

I have been riding since I was 5 years old ~ mostly pleasure and trail riding.  I worked for a large equestrian center during my teenage years.  For the last 5 years I have run my own stable.

Besides myself, I employ one instructor for lessons.  She has much experience for her young age.  Besides participating on the show circuit, she has attended many clinics.  Together we pratice natural horsemanship.  She is working on her certification (CHA) and will obtain it shortly.

I employ one very learned young lady who helps with the daily feeding, clean-up and lessons.  She has volunteered her services for an area therapeutic riding program for over a year and works well with children.  You can literally call her our side-kick.

Together our team is complete and we all compliment the other.
